Article metadata and abstract in JATS editor is located in the Front section of editor.
Add Metadata Article #
First, click the “+ Metadata“, the modal of data that can be inputted will be shown.
If you are using JATS Editor plugin in OJS, those meta data will available automatically once you are creating the JATS file in that plugin.
You can add the metadata directly in that modal.
Add Contributors and Their Affiliation #
Fill in the Author/Reviewers/Editors name first and click “+” button.
After that, click the edit icon next to the author’s name to add an Affiliation. Click the Other button to add other information such as email, country, and ORCID or Scopus ID of the author.
Add New Section in Abstract #
The example of abstract content below consists of Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion. Case studies like this JATS Editor provides its own section of Objective, Design, Subject, Method, Result, and Conclusion.
If there are sections that are not provided by JATS Editor, you don’t need to worry because you can add them in the Custom section like in this tutorial:
In the Front section, Click Insert ➝ Insert section ➝ Custom then you can change or fill Custom Section as you wanted
