This tutorial covers on how to publish your JATS after you have finished modifying everything in jatseditor.com. In publishing the result there is 2 mechanism that you can do :
- Publishing JATS in OJS
- Publishing directly in jatseditor.com
Publishing in OJS (Open Journal System) #
To publish the JATS in OJS, please make sure you have enable the Better JATS Viewer. You can go to OJT Control Panel > JATS Editor Plugin > Setting
You can go back to your workspace JATS Editor, if you finished editing your article, you can export your XML by click Export JATS button
Make sure your validation check and content check have no issues. Don’t forget to choose a reference style for your article.
Your article will be converted into a zip file, you can return to the OJT Control panel.
After that you go to the issue list and click on the article that you have edited before, click Actions > Import JATS
You can see the article with the full text indexing in the article detail page in OJS.
Publishing directly in JATSeditor.com #
To be able to publish directly, after you click “Preview” a new button will appear on the top right with label “Publish”.
As you click the “Publish” button, it will publicly available so if you are using OJS, you can copy the URL and paste it in the galley by selecting “External URL”.
